World Tech Day : Free Family Tech Event

About this event

World Tech Day 2026 is a hands-on technology day for children in grades 3 through 8, Saturday, November 14 at Legacy Arena in Douglasville.

Eight zones fill the arena floor: The Time Tunnel, The Cartoon Lab, Science Fair Central, Drone Flight Academy, VR Universe, AI Creation Studio, Build It Bay and Game Design Garage. Drones in a beginner flight cage, VR, game design with no code required, circuits and soldering, 3D printing, an AI studio. Every activity has to clear one rule to earn floor space: if a child cannot do it within 90 seconds, it is out. No demonstration tables, and nobody watching from behind a rope.

The day runs as two timed tracks of 400 children each, and each track opens and closes with a live show.

Track A — doors 8:45 a.m., show 9:00 to 9:35, floor 9:35 to 11:45, finale 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Track B — doors 1:15 p.m., show 1:30 to 2:05, floor 2:05 to 4:15, finale 4:15 to 4:45 p.m.
