Identifying & Protecting the High-Value Trees Around Us with Kathryn Kolb

About this event

We always think of old growth forests as being far away and inaccessible, but did you know that remnants of old growth trees are all around us? Join Kathryn Kolb of Eco Addendum as she shares fascinating insights into how to identify these ecosystems and, importantly, how to protect these ancient trees. Learn how these trees create essential micro-climates that slow global warming, control below ground conditions essential for tree regeneration and so much more! You'll look at your own yard and the green space around you with a fresh new prospective! FREE! All are welcome. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Walk-ins are welcome but please register at the link so we know how many to expect.
