Join us for a beautiful fall outing at Sweetwater Creek State Park! We will meet at the Visitor Center and
enjoy the Red Trail, also known as the History Trail. This popular, family-friendly 1-mile hike follows the
rushing rapids of Sweetwater Creek, with beautiful views of gold and orange fall leaves reflected on the
water. The trail ends at the historic brick ruins of the New Manchester textile mill, making it a perfect mix
of nature, history, and adventure.
After the hike, families are welcome to stay and play, relax by the water, or pack a picnic lunch to enjoy
with friends. Bring water, comfortable walking shoes, and a picnic blanket in case the tables are full.
This is a simple, fun, and refreshing way to enjoy the season, connect with other families, and make a
sweet outdoor memory together.
Refund & Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be issued after registration has closed. If you are unable
to attend, you are welcome to find another family to attend in your place.
Please notify the host as soon as possible if your family can no longer attend. Many events require the
host to wait outside, check in families, or coordinate with the venue, so advance notice is greatly
appreciated. Please be considerate.
